CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 

Old Testament Survey I
The course covers Law and History. 


Old Testament Survey II
Prerequisite - A.Th 101. The course covers Poetry and Wisdom.
 
Old Testament Survey III
Prerequisite - A.Th 102. The course covers the Major and Minor Prophets.
 
New Testament Survey I: The Gospels 
This course is an inductive study of the Gospels The procedure of study  involves a survey of the Gospel books as a whole, a detailed analysis of the various parts, interpretation of selected passages, and practical application to the Christian life.
 
Composition I
The course covers the proper use of grammar focusing on composition and provides an introduction for more critical writing.
 
Apologetics 
A study of the defense of the Christian's faith; to better help today's Christian better understand, defend and proclaim their beliefs in this age of increasing moral and spiritual relativism.  


Sermon Preparation
A study of Homiletics and Sermonic. The course is designed to teach      sermon preparation and delivery.
 
Introduction to Greek
The course examines the importance of root words to keep the Bible in   context.
 
Introduction to Hebrew
The course examines the importance of root words to keep the Bible in  context.
